Oat
Oats (Avena L.) belong to the cereal family. Among the large number of types of oats, there are cultivated and wild-growing forms (weeds - wild oats, or ovsyug). Cultivated oats refer to the most widespread type in culture - seeded oats. Sown oats are an annual cereal plant.
Oats are a culture of a temperate climate, undemanding to heat, in Ukraine it is more widespread in Polissia and in the forest-steppe. Absorbs phosphorus from poorly soluble compounds, so it is not picky about soil fertility. It grows well on sandy, loamy, clayey, peaty soils. It grows poorly on saline soils.
Variety Skarb Ukrainy
One of the best hybrids of whole-grain oats with high yield and grain value.
It is widely used in the food industry, for the preparation of dietary products, and the production of compound feed.
